Armed with a Degree in Agriculture from Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, a Post Graduate Degree in Extension Education from Gujarat Agriculture University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Agriculture Extension Management from the National Institute of Agriculture Extension Management, Hyderabad, he has amassed over 37 years of dedicated service to the farming community in various capacities as Agricultural Officer, Agricultural Economist, Training Officer, District Agricultural Officer, Deputy Director of Agriculture (Plan) & Sugarcane, Chief Statistician, Chief District Agriculture Officer, Director, Odisha State Seed & Organic Product Certification Agency (OSSOPCA), Chief Executive Officer, Odisha State Organic Certification Agency (OSOCA) and Additional Director of Agriculture.He initiated and successfully executed plans and programs for agricultural development, led extension reforms and facilitated coordination with various line departments, including Water Resources, Horticulture, Financing Agencies, Animal Resources, Fishery, and allied departments, took on the responsibility of coordinating and ensuring the effective implementation of extension programs in the state, identified and addressed challenges faced by the farming community, acting as a problem solver, ensured the seamless percolation of developmental schemes related to agriculture to farmers, acted as a bridge between farmers and research institutions, monitored and supervised agricultural extension activities in the state, contributing to their success, , played a crucial role in enhancing seed certification and organic certification processes in Odisha. served as an expert member of the selection board for the recruitment of Assistant Agricultural Officers for the Odisha Public Service Commission.
