Dr. Bibudha Parasar

Dr. Bibudha Parasar is an accomplished researcher with a diverse and interdisciplinary background spanning chemistry, immunology, microbiome research, and neurobiology. After completing his undergraduate studies at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) in Kolkata, Dr. Parasar earned a PhD in Chemistry and Chemical Biology from Cornell University, where his research focused on the intersections of chemistry, immunology, and the microbiome’s role in human health.
Dr. Parasar has also garnered international research experience in China, Israel, and the United States, enriching his scientific perspective through collaborations across diverse cultural and academic environments. Following his doctoral studies, he pursued postdoctoral research at Stanford University’s School of Medicine in the Department of Neurobiology, where he investigated the molecular mechanisms behind aging and neurodegeneration.
With over 20 peer-reviewed publications in renowned international journals, Dr. Parasar has made significant contributions to aging, neurodegeneration, and microbiome science.
